Drivers along the Fenway might notice an unusual sight—an evergreen tree growing out of the Gardner Museum’s new wing. Placed on top of the last steel beam added to the construction, the tree marks the completion of the steel structural core, known as the “Topping Out” (or “Topping Off”), a milestone which was achieved in late June...
