The Gardner Museum Heritage Society
“For the education and enjoyment of the public forever…” — Isabella Stewart Gardner
Isabella Stewart Gardner had an eye for art; she also had a visionary eye for the future. It was her conviction that her collection and museum would live on as a salon of ideas and artistic expression for the public forever. The museum itself is a legacy gift to our community, in turn relying upon the generosity of others to preserve it for future generations.
The Gardner Museum Heritage Society welcomes and honors individuals who build a living legacy of their own with a planned gift to help sustain the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. The Heritage Society acknowledges its members who provide generous support through provisions that further their personal financial goals and enhance the programs they value. In many cases, donors achieve these goals while minimizing their tax liabilities. Among the various types of gifts that members make are:
Bequests ∙ Charitable Trusts ∙ Life Insurance ∙ Living Trusts ∙ Retirement Assets
The Gardner Museum wishes to thank its planned giving donors during their lifetimes for their thoughtfulness, foresight and generosity. Please consider informing us if you have already provided for the Gardner Museum in your will or estate plans, and be welcomed as a member of the Gardner Museum Heritage Society. If you would like to learn more about the Heritage Society or ways to support the Gardner Museum through a planned gift, please email or call Jere Shea, Senior Development Officer at jshea@isgm.org / 617-391-3947 to arrange a confidential, no obligation conversation.
