Hi Groupies! We’re delighted that you took us up on the Groupon ticket offer and look forward to welcoming you to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

We’ve created this page as a place where you can find answers to frequently asked questions about the Groupon offer--and ask any other questions that may arise!

What can I use my Groupon for?
Each Groupon is valid for one general admission ticket to the Gardner between May 21, 2010, and May 31, 2011. Regular museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 5pm. More information about planning a visit

Groupons may also be used for admission to Gardner After Hours events, held on the third Thursday of every month from 5:30-9:30pm. These events are very popular and often crowded, so we recommend arriving early so you won't have to wait in line to get in.

How do I use my Groupon?
Just bring a printout of your Groupon with you to the museum and hand it in at the admission desk or use the Groupon iPhone app to display the coupon.

What if I forget my voucher and I don’t have an iPhone? Can you just look me up?
Unfortunately, we do need to see your Groupon--either in hard copy or on your iPhone--in order to process the voucher.

Can I use multiple Groupons in one visit?
Absolutely. You can use one Groupon voucher per person, and as many per visit as you would like. For example, if you bought two Groupons, you can make one trip to the museum with a friend or make two trips by yourself whatever you prefer.

I want to use my Groupon to attend an After Hours PLUS concert. How do I do that?
Bring your Groupon (either the printout or the electronic iPhone version) to the museum that evening and let the folks at the admission desk know that you'd like to upgrade to an After Hours PLUS ticket. If concert tickets are available, they'll charge you for the difference ($11) between a regular After Hours ticket and an After Hours PLUS ticket, and you'll be all set.

Can I upgrade my Groupon to attend another museum event, concert, or lecture?
Sorry, no. After Hours PLUS concerts are the only programs for which a Groupon upgrade is possible.
